Message From the President
Hy-Grade Valve, Inc. is pleased to announce our continued expansion. We have recently purchased a Ventil cryogenic testing unit and a mass spectrometer that will allow us to cryo-test our valves up to 48” in house. Additionally, we are proud to report that we have been selected by Shell Global Solutions to test valves to Shell MESC SPE 77/300 Type Acceptance Test (TAT). We will be stringently testing valves ranging from 3” CL600 to 18” CL600, including 10” CL1500, in order to maintain global acceptance for Shell. We are adding equiptment, performing more in-house testing, and adding personell in order to keep up with the demands of our customers.

Valve of the Quarter
Hy-Grade valve is proud to report the completion of our largest valves yet: a series of three 54” CL150 Dual-Plate check valves (DFD01- 54G-10AFX). Hy-Grade was eager to tackle this challenge, and, after months of hard work and dedication, these valves were tested and approved for their use in the field. They are headed for the Enterprise Products Propane Dehydrogenation (PHD) Unit in Mont Belvieu, Texas, the world’s largest facility of its kind. Always Growing
This quarter, Hy-Grade valve acquired a new 10 acre lot (pictured above) adjacent to our current property in Fairhope, Alabama. This new addition will allow for the continued growth of Hy-Grade for years to come wile maintaining our adherence to environmental rules and regulations.
